Outside and Environment Days

Outside and Environment Days at The Neighborhood Shack House are available for children in grades K-8 in Monongalia County. Drop-off begins at 8:00 am, and all children are to be picked up no later than 5:30 pm. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Cost is $10 per child per day and lunch will be provided.

NOTE:  If you need assistance with childcare, The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) offers assistance in paying for child care for eligible families.  Participants must be working, going to school, or searching for a job to apply and must be income eligible to receive assistance with the cost of child care. Our county-wide “Festival of Fun” Summer program provides academic enrichment, field trips, organized arts & craft activities, recreation, and community service opportunities to children grades Pre-K through high school. Click the button for more details.
